Installing rear wheel speed sensor

• Clean the bore for the wheel speed sensor and grease it with lubricating grease (see the applicable BMW Parts Catalog).

  Lubricating grease Staburags NBU 12K

  100 g, Tube

  83 23 9 407810

• Install rear wheel speed sensor.
• Replace the screw (2).

  Parts:  Screw

• Position and tighten the screw (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Rear wheel speed sensor on wheel carrier
  Replace screw.	Tightening torque	12 Nm

• Hook the cable of the wheel speed sensor into the holders (1).
• Hook the cable of the wheel speed sensor into the holder (1).
• Connect the connector and close cover (2).

Follow-up work 

• Install the rear left WHEEL .
