Removing the fan cowl
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When the engine is stopped after the completion of trip, it may be necessary to run the electric fan. In rare cases, operation of the electric fan can last up to 11 min. This protects the components. In this case, replacing the electric fan will not remedy the problem!

Preliminary work
- Remove the front UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Remove the top right and left engine compartment COVER .
- Remove front CROSS CONNECTION .
- Remove the left and right FRONT-END STRUT .
- Remove the rear left and right engine compartment COVER PANEL .
- Remove left and right hood gasket STAND .
- Remove the rear top CROSS CONNECTION .
Prerequisite
Ignition is switched off.
NOTE:
The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Loosen clamp (1).
Release the coolant line from the air conditioning condenser and set aside.
NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed. - Release clamps (1).
Release the coolant line from the fan cowl and the air conditioning condenser and set it aside.
- Loosen clamp (1).
- Release the lower left coolant line at the fan cowl and set aside.
- Loosen clamp (1).
- Release the lower right coolant line at the fan cowl and set aside.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release the clip (2) from the fan cowl.
- Loosen clamps (3).
- Release the coolant line at the fan cowl and set aside.
- Unlock the left and right (arrows) locking mechanisms.
- Slide out fan cowl (4) in arrow direction and remove.
