install the cover panel for the front axle left and right
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Remove the cover of the steering assembly
NOTE:
To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
- Release all bolts (arrows).
- Remove cover (1).
- Remove the front wheel arch trim
- Loosen blind rivet (1).
- Unclip the wheel arch trim (2) from the detents (3) on the bumper and on the trim panel of the side member.
- Unclip and remove the wheel arch trim (1) from the clips (2).
Remove the rear section of the front wheel arch cover front
- Remove screws (arrows).
- Guide out rear section (1) of wheel arch cover at front and remove.
Removing the front lower wheel arch cover
- Release all bolts (arrows).
- Guide the wheel arch cover (1) out.
