Releasing and removing front axle support

Disassemble the front axle support

WARNING: Heavy component falling down or tipping.
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!

Before lowering or removing the front axle: Secure the engine in the installation position.

Partially releasing left and right crash levers

NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.

NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.

Release nut (1).
Remove the bolt (2).

Releasing the adapter for the front axle support from the front axle support on the right and left

NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.
Loosen screws (1).

Completely removing the front axle support
Carefully lower and remove the front axle support with the universal jack 0 490133 (00 2 030).
