Removing the reinforcement on the left and right bumper cover

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Removing the reinforcement on the bumper cover

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Release the wiring harness (2) at the holders (arrows).

Release expanding rivet (1).
Loosen screw (2).
Release and remove the reinforcement (3) at the detents (arrows).
