Installing both bottom D-pillar trim panels

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Installing the bottom D-pillar trim panel

Check the clip (1) for damage and replace if necessary.

Feed the bottom D-pillar trim panel (1) under the sealing lip of the trunk lid seal.
Clip the bottom D-pillar trim panel (1) into the detents (2).
Clip in the clip (3).
Tighten down screw (4).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Bottom D-pillar trim panel
Torx thermoplastic oval-head screw	Tightening torque 2.7 Nm
