Install the cover panels on the front axle on the right and left

Installing the front bottom wheel arch cover 

• Guide the wheel arch cover (1) in.
• Tighten all bolts (arrows).

Install the rear section of the front wheel arch cover 

• Feed in rear section (1) of the front wheel arch cover.
• Tighten screws (arrows).

Installing front wheel arch trim 

• Check the clips (1) for damage and replace where required.

Check 

• Check detents (1) for damage.

  Result 

  » Detent (1) of the wheel arch trim is damaged.

  Measure

  • Replace wheel arch trim.
• Snap the wheel arch trim (1) into the locks (2) on the front side panel.

• Feed in wheel arch trim (2) and engage on the clips (3).
• Replace the blind rivets (1).

  Parts:  Blind rivet

• Mount blind rivet (1) using the special tool 0 496 521 (00 2 230)  .

Install the cover of the steering assembly 

• Insert the cover (1).
• Tighten all bolts (arrows).
