Take engine out of installation orientation

• Turn the special tool (spindle) 2 361 506 (00 6 103)  to lower the engine until it is positioned completely flat on the engine mounts.

• Release the hook (1) out of the mounting bracket on the cylinder head.

  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION  Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person.
• Carefully remove the engine bridge (1) with help from a support person.

• Tighten the screw (1) of the right engine mount from the top with a standard tool.
  TIGHTEN TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Engine mount to engine support bracket
  M12	Tightening torque	100 Nm

• Lay out all special tools and standard tools.

  Number	Description
  1	Standard torque wrench
  2	Extension 11 9 150
  3	External Torx socket E14

• Assemble all special tools and standard tools as shown.

• Tighten the screw (1) of the left engine mount from the bottom.
  TIGHTEN TORQUES SPECIFICATION

  M12	Tightening torque	100 Nm

• Loosen the screws (1) from the special tool 2 459 012 
• Guide out and remove the special tool 2 459 012  on the cylinder head.

Follow-up work 

• Install rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
• Install the center UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
• Install the left and right hood gasket SEAL .
• Install the top left and right engine compartment COVER .
• Install the rear right engine compartment COVER .
• Install the rear left engine compartment COVER .
• Install ACOUSTIC COVER .
• Take hood out of the SERVICE POSITION .
