Preliminary work
- Remove the interior rearview mirror COVERS .
- Remove the interior REARVIEW MIRROR .
- Remove the left hands-free MICROPHONE .
- Remove right hands-free MICROPHONE .
- Remove the ROOF FUNCTION CENTER (FZD).
- Remove the left and right SUN VISOR .
- Remove left and right sun visor counter SUPPORTS .
- Remove both vanity mirror LIGHTS .
- Remove left and right a-pillar TRIM PANEL .
- Remove all GRAB HANDLES .
- Partially remove the top left and right b-pillar TRIM PANELS .
- Remove the left and right front HEAD RESTRAINT .
- Remove rear interior roof LIGHT .
- Remove both c-pillar TRIM PANELS .
- Remove the rear seat backrest, backrest SIDE SECTION .
- Remove the luggage compartment ROLLER COVER .
- Remove the right lap in the luggage compartment TRIM PANEL .
- Remove both d-pillar TRIM PANELS .
- Remove cover from seat belt FINISHER STRIP .
- Remove left luggage compartment wheel arch TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the rear luggage compartment capping TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the front luggage compartment TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the locking clip from the rear seat BACKREST .
Prerequisite
The front seats have been fully adjusted towards the bottom.
The front seat backrests have been fully adjusted towards the rear.
The rear seat backrest is folded toward the front.
- Release the headliner (1) on the clips (2).
- If necessary, release the cable clips from the headliner (1).
- Disconnect the plug connections and feed out the wiring harness (3).
- Unclip headlining (1) out of clips (2) downwards.
- Feed headlining (1) out of the respective edge protection.
- Remove headlining (1) through the tailgate cutout out of the vehicle with the help of a support person.
