Installing air conditioning compressor

Preparing for the installation of the air-conditioning compressor 

• Screw the screws (2) into the threaded support bushings (1).
• Push back the threaded support bushings (1) with the help of screws (2) slightly in the arrow direction.
• Unscrew the screws (2) out of the threaded support bushings (1).

Secure component against falling.

• Replace O-rings.

  Parts:  O-rings

• Insert and position the air conditioning compressor (1) from the top front.
• Position the refrigerant lines on the air conditioning compressor (1).
• Tighten down screws (2).

  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Refrigerant line on air conditioning compressor
  M8	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Push coolant hose (1) slightly to the side.
• Connect connectors (2) and lock.

• Correctly position the air conditioning compressor (2).
• Tighten down screws (1).

Follow-up work 

• Install the alternator DRIVE BELT .
• Install fan COWL .
• Prepare the THROTTLE BODY .
• Install the THROTTLE BODY .
• Install front CROSS CONNECTION .
• Install the left and right hood gasket SEAL .
• Install the rear left and right engine compartment COVER PANEL .
• Install left and right FRONT-END STRUT .
• Install the rear top CROSS CONNECTION .
• Install the top left and right engine compartment COVER .
• Install ACOUSTIC COVER .
• Install the front UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
• EVACUATE AND CHARGE conditioning.
• Run in the new air conditioning COMPRESSOR .
