Installing the trunk lid seal

• Remove sealant residue from the sheet metal flange.
• Clean sheet metal flange.
• Replace the trunk lid seal (1).

  Parts:  Trunk lid seal

• Mount the trunk lid seal (1) starting from the top middle.
• Make sure that the seal for the for the trunk lid (1) is positioned correctly against adjacent trim panel components.

  Check 

• Check the closing function of the trunk lid.

Result 

» The trunk lid does not close correctly.

Measure 

• Make sure that the seal for the for the trunk lid (1) is positioned correctly against adjacent trim panel components.

Follow-up work 

• Partially install the HEADLINING .
• Install rear SPOILER .
• Mount both rear window frame side TRIMS .
• Install the top rear window frame TRIM .
• Install the rear left and right luggage compartment TRIM PANELS .
• Install both d-pillar TRIM PANELS .
• Install both c-pillar TRIM PANELS .
• Install left luggage compartment wheel arch TRIM PANEL .
• Install the right luggage compartment wheel arch TRIM PANEL .
• Install both backrest side sections on the rear SEAT BACKREST .
• Install both covers in the seat belt FINISHER STRIP .
• Install loading edge TRIM .
• Install the rear luggage COMPARTMENT WELL .
• Install both bottom d-pillar TRIM PANELS .
• Install both flaps in the luggage compartment TRIM PANEL .
• Install the luggage compartment FLOOR COVERING .
• Install luggage compartment ROLLER COVER .
