- Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When releasing the screw, have a support person brace the steering wheel in order to reduce torque on the steering column!

- Shift the steering wheel and wheels to the straight ahead position.
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connections (1) and (2).
- Release the screw (3) and detach the steering wheel.
