Removing front door sill cover strip on left and right

NOTE: The operations shown only for one side must be carried out on both sides.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Bending of plastic components. 
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components. 

• Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
• Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Detach front door sill cover strip (1) upwards from the clamps (2) and clips (3) using the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325)  and remove.
