Install the power tailgate switch

Check 

• Check the side detents (1) of the switch (2) for the power tailgate for damage.

Result 

» The switch (2) for the power tailgate is damaged.

Measure

• Replace the switch (2) for the power tailgate.

• Connect the connector (3) of the switch (2) for the power tailgate.
• Insert the switch (1) for the power tailgate and clip-in at the side detents (2).
