Removing the engine from the manual transmission

• Loosen screws (1)  .

• Remove screws (arrows).

• Move the table top (B)  in the arrow direction away from the table top (A)  and move the manual transmission (1)  to the side.

• Insert and position the special tool 2 459 012 on the cylinder head.
• Tighten the screws (1)  of the special tool 2 459 012 .
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Special tool to cylinder head
  M8	Tightening torque	21.5 Nm

• Attach the workshop crane with the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070) and raise the engine (1) from the lifting  table.
