Removing the engine from the assembly jig

CAUTION: Heavy component  .
Heavy components can lead to injury or damage  .

• Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.

• Hook the workshop crane with the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070) and position the engine (1)  .

• Release nuts at the special tool 2 413 082  .
• Detach the holder (2)  in the direction of the arrow.
• Release the engine (1)  with the special tool 2 455 010  out of the special tool 2 413 082  in the direction of the arrow.

• Release the standard screws (arrows).
• Guide out and remove the special tool 2 455 010  at the engine (1)  .

• Insert and install the holder (2)  .
• Tighten down screws (1)  .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Holder to crankcase
M10	Tightening torque	38 Nm
