Attach the engine to the manual transmission

• Check the fitting sleeves (1)  for correct seating and damage and replace if necessary.

• Position the engine (1)  with a workshop crane and the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070) on the lifting table 2 184 136  .
• Guide out the workshop crane with the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070) from the engine (1) and move it  aside.

• Move the table top (B)  in the arrow direction to the table top (A)  and position the manual transmission (1)  on the engine.

• Tighten the screws (arrows).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Transmission to engine
  M8	Tightening torque	19 Nm
  M12	Tightening torque	66 Nm

• Tighten down screws (1)  .

• Loosen the screws (1)  from the special tool 2 459 012 .
• Guide the special tool 2 459 012 out and remove.
