Installing the intake plenum

• Replace seals (1).

  Parts:  Seals

• Align the intake plenum according to the guides (2) on the cylinder head.

• Guide in and install intake plenum (6).
• Position the intake plenum (6).
• Apply the screws in the sequence (1), (2), (3), (4), (5).
• Tighten the screws in the sequence (1), (2), (3), (4), (5).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Intake plenum to cylinder head  Observe tightening sequence.
  M6	Tightening torque	10 Nm

• Connect the engine ventilation line (1) to the throttle body (2).

  Make sure that the engine ventilation line (1) engages audibly.

• Check seal (1) for damage and replace seal (1) as needed.

• Detach the locks (1) in the direction of the arrow from the brackets.

• Connect and lock the connector (1) on the charging pressure sensor.
• Connect and lock the connector (2) on the throttle valve.
• Make sure you can hear the connectors (1) and (2) engage.
• Connect the pressure pipe (3) on the throttle body and lock.
• Make sure the pressure pipe (3) engages audibly at the throttle body.
• Thread in cable channel (1) and install.

• Make sure that you can hear the locks (arrows) engage.

• Guide the fuel delivery line (2) in and install.
• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Fuel delivery line to cylinder head cover
  M6x18	tightening torque	7 Nm

• Secure the coolant line (1) to the holder (2).

• Connect and lock the connector (1) on the charging pressure sensor.
• Make sure the connector (1) engages audibly at the charging pressure sensor.
• Insert and install the wiring harness (3).
• Secure clamps (2).

• Connect and lock the connector (1) on the VTC controller.
• Make sure the connector (1) engages audibly.
• Clip the wiring harness (2) into the intake plenum.
• Clip in the positive battery cable of the alternator (3) on the intake plenum.
