Install the tailgate button

Check 

• Check the seal (1) on the tailgate button (2) for damage.

  Result 

  » The seal (1) is damaged.

  Measure

• Replace the tailgate button (2).
• Insert the tailgate button (1) in the rear trim from the outside in.

  The badge must be aligned correctly.

• Attach the retaining ring (1) from the inside and turn it in the direction of the arrow to the stop.
• Tighten the screws (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Tailgate button
  Screw with spring washer and washer M6x20	tightening torque	8 Nm

• Connect connectors (1) and lock.
