Removing the tailgate trim panel

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE TOP REAR WINDOW FRAME .
• Refer to REMOVING BOTH TRIMS FOR THE REAR WINDOW FRAME ON THE SIDE .

• Lever out the covers (1) of the bolting points with a suitable tool.

• If applicable, remove the warning triangle from the tailgate trim panel (2).
• Unscrew the bolts (1) at the tailgate trim panel (2).

• Unclip the tailgate trim panel (1) at the latch mechanisms (2) and remove.
