Removing the soft-close motor from the trunk lid

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING TRIM PANEL FOR STORAGE SHELF (PARCEL SHELF) .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT REMOVABLE PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LOADING EDGE TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COMPACT SPARE WHEEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE VEHICLE TOOL KIT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE HOOK AND LOOP TAPE FOR THE VEHICLE TOOL KIT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL ON LEFT .

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
• Detach the cable (2) from the guides and on the tailgate lock.
• Release the Soft-close motor (4) from the holders (3) and remove together with the cable (2).
