Removing the throttle body
Preliminary work

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

- Engage the locks (1) in the holder in the direction of the arrow.
- Unlock and release the plug connection (1) on the boost pressure sensor.
- Unlock and release the plug connection (2) on the throttle valve.
- Unlock pressure pipe (3) on throttle body and set aside.
NOTE:
The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Unlock and release engine ventilation line (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Feed out and remove the throttle valve.
- Unlock and loosen the locks (1) with conventional tools.
- Remove the throttle bodies (2).
