During work on the rear brake, it must be ensured that the button for the electromechanical parking brake cannot be pressed.

Preliminary work
- Refer to INSTALLING BRAKE PEDAL TENSIONER .
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Slacken union screw (1).
Hold on to square shaft, if necessary (2).
- Detach the brake hose from the brackets (1).
- Release brake hose (2) from brake caliper.
- Remove the brake hose.
