Remove rear seat bench

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT REMOVABLE PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COMPACT SPARE WHEEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE VEHICLE TOOL KIT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE HOOK AND LOOP TAPE FOR THE VEHICLE TOOL KIT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .

• Unclip the cover (1) forwards.

• Loosen screws (1).

  Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components  .

• Cover the door sill using protective covers.
• Fold down rear seat backrest (1) on left and right.
• Loosen screws (2).
• Disconnect existing plug connections where required.
  NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
  Heavy component  .
  Heavy components can lead to injury or damage  .

  • Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
• Remove the rear seat bench with the help of an auxiliary person.
