61 31 117 Removing and installing/replacing power window switch (driver's side)

Special tools required:

00 9 325

IMPORTANT: Carry out the following operation carefully so as to avoid damaging the door trim panel and the switch.
If necessary, tape off the working area.

Removal:

Lift switch for power window regulator (1) out of armrest using special tool 00 9 325.

Disconnect corresponding connector and remove switch for power window regulator (1).

Replacement:

Release all latch mechanisms on trim (2) at both sides.

Guide switch for power window regulator (1) out of the trim (2).

Installation note:

The latch mechanism (1) and the guides (3) on the trim (4) may not be damaged or missing.

The metal clamps (2) on the trim (4) may not be damaged or missing.

Installation:

Connect corresponding connector to switch for power window regulator (1).

Insert switch for power window regulator (1) into armrest.
