51 71... Removing and installing/replacing right (rear) suspension cross-brace

IMPORTANT: Driving without the strut brace is not permitted! (risk of damage to the body).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove COWL PANEL COVER (front section)

Removal:

Release screw (1).

Slacken nut (2).

Remove suspension cross-brace (3).

Installation:

Install strut brace (3).

Tighten nut (2).

Tightening torque 51 61 2AZ .

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 51 61 3AZ .

NOTE: Make sure suspension cross-brace (3) is in correct installation position.
