51 16 165 Removing and installing/replacing complete center console

Necessary preliminary tasks:

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on HANDLING WIRING HARNESSES AND CABLES .

Removal:

Lift off cover (1).

Version with center armrest:

Remove the CENTER ARMREST .

Release screws (1).

Release screws (1).

Lift the rear center console (2) and in this process, disconnect all plug connections.

Remove the wiring harness and remove the center console (2) from the motor vehicle.

Installation:

Replacement:

Remount INTERIOR AERIAL FOR COMFORT ACCESS .

Lift the rear center console (2) and insert towards the front.

Connect the plug connection.

Insert the wiring harness into the center console (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 16 7AZ .

Install the CENTER ARMREST .

Install the FRONT STORAGE COMPARTMENT
Install REAR CENTER CONSOLE TRIM
Install TRIM PANEL, CENTER CONSOLE, SIDE
