34 52 525 Replacing one front pulse sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove the front WHEEL .
• Partially detach FRONT LEFT WHEEL ARCH PANEL .

Removal: 

Release screw (1) and remove pulse sensor (2).

Remove cable from bracket on spring strut.

Disengage cable from holders (1).

Disconnect plug connection (2).

Installation: 

Clean bore hole for pulse sensor and grease with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease (refer to: BRAKES - OPERATING FLUIDS ).

Attach brake pad wear sensor in brackets (1).

Connect plug connection (2).

Install pulse sensor (2).

Insert screw (1) and tighten down.

Tightening torque, refer to: 34 51 4AZ .

Install cable in bracket on spring strut.

Required follow-up work: 

• Install FRONT LEFT WHEEL ARCH PANEL
• Install the WHEEL .
