Removing the front sill trim (not illuminated)

NOTE: Procedure shows left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Bending of plastic components. 
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components. 

• Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
• Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.

• Release and remove the front sill trim (1) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325)  at the clips (2).
• Remove clips (1) if necessary and place on the front sill trim.
