Remove lower oil pan section

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING UNDERBODY PLANKING ON LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE .
- Refer to REMOVING THRUST FIELD .
- Refer to DRAINING THE MOTOR OIL .
- Release oil drain plug (1) .
- Remove oil drain screw (1) with sealing ring.

Collect and dispose of emerging fluids.

- Catch the motor oil with a suitable collecting vessel.
- Uninstall cable holder (1) .
- Disconnect plug connection (2) .
- Loosen screws in area (1) .
- Protect the oil pan (2)
from falling.
- Lever off the lower oil pan section (1) from the upper oil sump section with a suitable screwdriver.
- Remove lower section of oil pan (1) downwards.
