When replacing trim on convertible top

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM STRIP ON THE CONVERTIBLE-TOPPING COMPARTMENT LID .
Refer to REMOVING CONVERTIBLE-TOPPING COMPARTMENT LID TRIM .

Precondition

Convertible top compartment lid is open.

NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.

Loosen screws (1).
Feed out and remove seal with bracket (2).
Remount seal with bracket (2) on the new convertible top.
Tighten down screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Seal with holder on convertible top flap
Oval-head screw	tightening torque	1.8 Nm
