Remove both solenoid valves on right side
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER TOP CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT AIR DUCT .
- Refer to PARTIALLY DETACHING THE COOLANT EXPANSION TANK FOR THE LOW-TEMPERATURE COOLANT CIRCUIT .

Cleanliness is imperative for the removal or installation of solenoid valves.
Possible malfunctions if valves are contaminated are as follows:

- Rough engine running
- Fault memory entry
- Faulty emission values
- Low engine power
- Unlock and detach the connectors of the solenoid valves (1) and (6) .
- Loosen screws (3) and (4) .
- Remove solenoid valves (2) and (5) .
