Adjusting rear lid lock

• Lever out the covers (1) on the marked recesses (arrows) with a screwdriver and remove them.
• Loosen screws (2) until the tailgate lock can be shifted.
• Adjusting tailgate lock.

Check 

• Check the gap dimensions between the trunk lid and the bumper cover.

  » Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.

  Measure

  • Adjust tailgate latch.
• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Tailgate lock to body
  M8x20 screw	Tightening torque	19 Nm
