Install B-Pillar With Reinforcement
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Use only approved spot welder for repair.

Use only approved spot welder for repair.

- Clean bonding surfaces (1) and (2) with solvent cleaner R1.
- Apply adhesive K1 to the bonding surfaces.
- Install the new parts for the inner part and for the reinforcement of the B-pillar using a alignment bracket or a universal fixture and secure them.
- Apply adhesive K1 to the bonding surfaces for the reinforcement plates (1).
- Install reinforcement plates.
- In the area (1), apply blind rivets N12.
- Weld the new part in areas (2).
- Weld the new part in the areas (1) to (4) as per the new part preparation process.
- Weld the new parts in areas (1) and (2).
- Install and weld all 4 apertures (1) as well as the reinforcement plates (2).NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

While doing so, make sure that there is sufficient distance to later welding areas (2).

- Install the new part and the reinforcement plate and weld in the areas (3) to (5) according to the new part preparation process.
