Remove Carrier Support

Release the self-tapping screw in areas (1) .
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Heat and release the bonded connections in areas (1) .
Do not damage the aluminum engine mount in the process!

Mark and make the separating cuts (1) and (2) as shown.
Release welded connections in areas (3) .
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Release rivet connector in area (4) . Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!

Release welded connections in areas (1) .
Release rivet connectors in area (2) . Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
Heat and release bonded connections in areas (1) and (2) . Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
Remove the carrier support (3) .

Remove cavity sealing (1) .
Release the rivet connectors in area (2) . Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
Heat and release bonded connections in areas (2) . Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
Remove the carrier support.
