Removing and installing/replacing front carpet for passenger compartment (330i xDrive Wagon, 328d xDrive Wagon, 330i GT xDrive, 340i GT xDrive)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Clamp off BATTERY LEAD from negative connection point
- Remove CENTER CONSOLE .
- Remove both left a-pillar footwell side TRIM PANEL and right a-pillar footwell side TRIM PANEL
- Remove both front seats. Refer to either DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT SEAT, (NORMAL/MANUAL) , PASSENGER'S SIDE FRONT SEAT, (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) , DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT SEAT, (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) or PASSENGER'S SIDE FRONT SEAT, (NORMAL/MANUAL) .
- Remove complete accelerator PEDAL MODULE
- Remove left/right central bass speaker COVER

Risk of damage!
Pay attention to cables when cutting.
Start cuts towards center of vehicle as far as is possible. This guarantees that cutting edges are covered by storage compartment and/or dashboard.

Cut out the carpet along the lines (1), including on the right side.
Remove carpet towards rear/top and if necessary feed out cable.
Installation note:
Apertures (1) serve as fixing points for fitting carpet.
Replacement:
Lay removed carpet over new one and transfer cuts to new carpet.
