Removing and installing/replacing trim panel for D-pillar left (right) (330i xDrive Wagon, 328d xDrive Wagon)

Special tools required:
- 00 9 325
When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged.
Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove roof pillar at rear (C-pillar)TRIM PANEL
Left side:
- Remove flap in luggage compartment TRIM PANEL
Right side:
- Remove luggage compartment TRIM PANEL
Release screws (1) and (2).
Release clip (3) from trim panel (4) using special tool 00 9 325.
Disconnect plug connection of luggage compartment light and feed out the trim panel (4).
Installation note:
Clips (1) and marked guides must not be damaged or missing.
If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).
Installation note:
Lip of edge protection (1) in area of trim panel (2) must not be trapped, feed out if necessary.
Replacement:
- Modify LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT .
