Removing and installing/replacing complete rear left or right power window regulator (330i GT xDrive)

Special tools required:

WARNING: Danger of injury!
Carry out work on the power window regulator only when the power window motor is de-energized.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove SIDE WINDOW .

Close the door and remove the sealing cap from the front door window frame.

Loosen nut (1).

Installation note:

Nut (1) is tightened during adjustment of door window glass setting.

Open door and remove sealing cap (1) on rear door window frame.

Loosen nut (2).

Installation note:

Nut (2) is tightened during adjustment of door window glass setting.

Remove the sealing caps (1).

Release the nut (2) using special tool 51 0 400 and counter support the adjustment pin (3) when doing this.

Tightening torque 51 35 2AZ .

NOTE: If adjustment pin (3) is not counter supported, shaft dimension of door window glass can change.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release screw (2) and nuts (3).

Tightening torque 51 35 2AZ .

Feed out the window lift rails (4 and 5).

IMPORTANT: Risk of paint damage!

Observe notes on INITIALIZATION of power window regulator.

Replacement:

Remove FLAT MOTOR for power window regulator.
