US version only: Remove the bottom holder from the coolant radiator at left and right

NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Remove the front section of the front wheel arch cover

Loosen screws (1) .
Remove the bottom holder (2) .

Fasten the external radiator (1) with a luggage strap 0 496 080 (33 5 206) on the top holder (2).

Position the deformation element (1) .
The screw (2) must be screwed in again several turns.
