Removing the output shafts
Remove left output shaft
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
It is paramount to replace the radial shaft seal each time the output shaft is removed.
It is paramount to replace the radial shaft seal each time the output shaft is removed.
- Secure output shaft (1) against falling out.
- Position the aluminum drift (2) on the output shaft (1) .
- Knock out the output shaft (1)
from the front axle transmission with an aluminum mandrel (2)
.
- Remove the output shaft (1) in the direction of the arrow.
Remove right output shaft

- Knock output shaft (1)
with the aluminum drift (2)
out of the bearing support.NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Remove the output shaft (1) in the direction of the arrow.
