Remove right luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel
Removing the emergency release handle for the tailgate (additional work for US version)
NOTE:

- Loosen the emergency release handle (1) for the tailgate from the holder.
- Detach the Bowden cable (2) and remove the emergency release handle (1) for the tailgate.

- Fold out multi-function hook (1).
- Unclip the cover (2) with the special tool 0 490 540 (00 9 323) . To do this, place a corner of the special tool on the bottom left on the cover (2).
- Loosen screw (3).
- Release the expanding rivet (1).
- Guide the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel out of the sealing lip of the tailgate seal.
- Release the clip (2).

If necessary, unlock and disconnect, or connect and lock, all other connectors.

- Guide the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel over the retaining clip (2) and remove.
