Install the door pocket
- Replace door pocket.
Parts: Door pocket.
- Shorten the welding pins (1) on the new door pocket by the dimension (a).TECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION
Shorten the welding pin Dimension a 3 mm - Saw off the welding pins (1) on the new door pocket, each along the molding (2).
- Check that the welding pins (1) do not extend beyond the door trim panel.
- Remove welding residue (arrows) on door trim panel (1) with a scalpel.
- Remove the moldings (arrows) with a suitable tool.NOTE: Use a scalpel.
- Guide the door pocket (1) into the door trim panel (2) and position it correctly.
- Clip the door pocket (1) into the detents (3).
- Attach the door pocket using repair screws (arrows).
- Tighten the repair screws (arrows).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Door pocket on door trim panel Screw Tightening torque 2 Nm CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATIONRepair screw Delta PT4 ø4 mm, l = 12 mm, 07149200941 - Attach the door pocket with lock washers (1).
- Fix welding pins (arrows) with the shown lock washer (1).
