Removing The Side Panel On The Right

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVE THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON TOP .
- Refer to REMOVE THE COVER OF THE REAR RIGHT ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE RIGHT HOOD SEAL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE TOP REAR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE WHEEL .
- Refer to REMOVE THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER FRONT SECTION .
- Refer to REMOVE REAR SECTION OF THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
- Refer to REMOVE WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR .
- Refer to REMOVE THE REAR DOOR .
- Refer to REMOVE THE RIGHT DOOR SILL TRIM PANEL .
- Mask areas (1) with plastic adhesive tape.
- Mask area (1) with plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove the sound insulation (1).
- Release screws (1) and (2).
- Loosen screw (1).
- Unclip the wiring harness at the attachment points (1).
- Loosen screws (1).NOTE: To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
- Open the front door.
Slightly pull the seal (1) downwards in the arrow direction.
- Loosen screw (2).
- Close front door.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Release the side panel with a second person in the order and direction shown.
- Pull the side panel in the area of the A-pillar outwards (2).
- Pull side panel to the rear (3) and remove it.
