Remove the control unit for the power tailgate
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY GROUND LEAD .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LOADING EDGE TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Unlock the detent (2) and remove the control unit (3).
