Preliminary work

- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .

- When components are replaced, the notices in the applicable BMW parts catalogue (applicable BMW parts catalogue) must be observed.
- Unlock detents (1) and feed out the power distribution box (2) from holder (3).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release the lock (1) in arrow direction.
- Remove lin power distribution box (2).
