- Position the slotted screwdriver (1) as shown through the marked opening (2) in the backrest frame (3).CAUTION: Sharp-edge components.
Injury hazard!- Where applicable, cover up or mask off sharp-edged components.
- Cover or mask the marked area (1).
- Position the slotted screwdriver (2) as shown.
- Unlock the lock (3) with a slotted screwdriver (2) in the arrow direction.
- Remove the inner guide sleeve on the driver's seat (4) upwards.
- Position the slotted screwdriver (1) as shown through the marked opening (2) in the backrest frame (3).
- Position the slotted screwdriver (1) as shown.
- Unlock the lock (2) with a slotted screwdriver (1) in the arrow direction.
- Remove the outer guide sleeve on the driver's seat (3) upwards.

- Position the slotted screwdriver (2) as shown.
- Unlock lock (3) using slotted screwdriver (2) in the arrow direction.
- Remove the inner guide sleeve on the (front) passenger seat (4) upwards.
Removing the cover for the backrest release
- Unclip and remove the cover (1) for the backrest release in the marked area with a suitable tool from the detents (2).
- Press backrest covering (1) carefully to the front in marked area (2) until lock (3) of the outer guide sleeve is accessible on the (front) passenger seat.
- Position slotted screwdriver (1) as shown on lock (3) of outer guide sleeve (2) on the (front) passenger seat.
- Unlock lock (2) of outer guide sleeve (3) on the (front) passenger seat using slotted screwdriver (1) (arrow) and remove it upwards at the same time.
