Installing the centering for the propeller shaft

• Note the protrusion (A)  at the centering (1)  .

  Protrusion (A)  = 4+2 mm

• Remove grease or water from mount bore.
• Drive centering (1)  into the prop shaft using special tools 0 490 873 (11 2 350) and 0 490 475 (00 5 500). When doing so, note the protrusion  ,

• Apply a thin coat of grease to the soft centering (1)  , if necessary.

  The hard centering (2)  must not be greased.
