Removing the wiring harness for convertible top compartment lid mechanism on the left
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE CONVERTIBLE TOP COMPARTMENT LID .
- Release expanding rivet (1).
- Remove the Hall effect sensor (2).
- Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.
- Unclip and remove the wiring harness for the convertible top compartment lid mechanism (4) from the existing holders.
NOTE:
If necessary, shift the convertible top compartment lid mechanism manually to improve accessibility to the Hall effect sensor.
