Installing the repair kit for the headlight

Precondition

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Use the repair kit to replace damaged holders. The replacement of the headlamp is not required.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
To protect the component from scratches:
Place the component on a soft surface.

Note that the repair kit for the headlight for the holders (1), (2) and (3) can be used.

If applicable, remove the damaged holder (1) along the dotted line as shown (2).

Attach the new holder (1) with the included screws (2).

Remove the adjusting element (1).
If applicable, remove the damaged holder (2) along the dotted line as shown (3).
In order to ensure a flat surface, remove some material around the threaded sleeves if necessary (4).

Attach the new holder (1) with the included screws (2).
Remount the adjusting element (3) on the new holder (1).
