Remove the 3rd brake light

Preliminary work

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The 3rd brake light is fitted with a double-sided adhesive seal and must therefore be replaced.

NOTE: For a better overview the removed condition is shown here.

Unlock all locks (1) to the 3rd brake light (2).

First press brake light (1) up out of the tailgate slightly and hold.
Unlock all locks (2) and feed out the 3rd brake light (3).

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Brake light (2) to be removed.
